Graduate student, Jordan Toutounchian, was accepted to a highly competitive course designed for promising young researchers in the field of vision research. The course titled “Fundamental Issues in Vision Research” is a two-week lecture and laboratory course intended for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the early stages of vision research or planning to enter the field. Students are presented with a comprehensive overview of current research areas and approaches that will help to broaden their understanding of this area. Only 25 students are accepted in to the course that will be held August 10-25, 2014 at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Massachusetts.
