Theodore Cory, PharmD, PhD comes to us after completion of his PharmD at Drake University. He completed a PhD focusing on the effect of azithromyin on classically and alternatively activated macrophage phenotype at the University of Kentucky. He is currently working as a post-doctoral research associate in the laboratory of Dean Courtney Fletcher at the University of Nebraska Medical Center involving research into pharmacokinetics of antiretrovirals in reservoir and sanctuary sites. He will begin a tenure track position May 1, 2014 as an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy’s Division of Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics.
Emma Tillman, PharmD, PhD comes to us after completion of her PharmD from Butler University, residency and fellowship training at the University of Tennessee and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Emma completed her PhD in the Integrated Program for Biological Sciences at UTHSC, her research focused on apoptosis-mediated intestinal failure associated-liver disease in neonates and infants. Emma was a Research Assistant Professor within the State of Tennessee College of Education, the Center for Pediatric Pharmacokinetics and Therapeutics. She has moved to a tenure track position February 15, 2014 as an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy’s Division of Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics.
