Dr. J. Richard Brown Scholarship Endowment
Richard Brown, BS, PharmD, FASHP will be retiring this academic year after a 40-year career with the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Memphis and the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. There is unlikely a clinical educator in Tennessee who has taught and mentored the number of students and residents as Dr. Brown. Even though the numbers of trainees and student pharmacists are unprecedented, the quality of education is what really has influenced so many in their formative stages.
Before leaving the UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and the VA, Dr. Brown would like to help create a scholarship endowment for student pharmacists.
